The car looks great. Russ decided to forgo the elaborate paint job this year and turn those dollars into performance. I like shiny like any other guy, but this is a race car and we all know racing is a rough sport. This will be much easier to maintain. I like it.

A few laps later the #02 had a catastrophic parts failure and launched off the top of turn #3 and was collected by the (out-of-sight) tire wall.

This ended the 2011 season for #02, Russell and the team.
