While Brian Hoar was kissing pretty girls in victory lane last Sunday after his Merchants Bank 150 win, Potter and his crew were loading a cumpled-up race car after kissing the frontstretch wall on lap 71. It looked bad, but Randy said they would have it fixed for the next race.

I stopped by on my way back from the RiverSide Speedway open practice this afternoon and they were just finishing up.

The car was finished, loaded up and RPR and the 02NH will be headed for Devil's Bowl tomorrow morning at 05:30.

* Follow-up: Randy qualified in the 7th starting position and finish 5th in the Spring Green 112 on Sunday.

With the opening ACT race just a month away, the car build is right on schedule. Saturday was another big day in the shop.

Exhaust time.

Time to fire it up!

Gotta love the smell of racing fuel and burning header paint!

New windshield going in.

Kevin Ross, racing enthusiast and fan, drove down from Sherbrooke, Canada and spent a few hours talking about ACT and his past adventures at RiverSide Speedway.
