| A week before the event there was little snow, but the temperatures were low and the "Stump Jumpers" were able to stay on top of things by making their own snow. |
| Monday through Thursday mother nature brought high temperatures and rain. The club teamed up with Canon Mountain and trucked snow in to add to the racing surface. |
| Work continued right up to the green flag. The fans were a little inconvenienced, but no one was complaining. |
